  Dunhinda Falls

60 minutes drive from Ella, Dunhinda falls- said to be the most awe-inspiring waterfall of Sri Lanka. It is hidden in the surrounding mountains and jungle away from the main

 

road and can be reached by foot along a well-defined path of about 1 KM. It is an ideal spot for a picnic and thee is a good observation spot too at the end of the path. It’s truly an enchanting sight from a distance.

   
 

Rawana Falls

Just 6 KM down Ella Gap towards Wellawaya is the magnificent Ravana Ella situated at the edge of a forest reserve. Further up the road towards Ella, a side road takes you to the cave temple associated with the Sita- Rama story of the great Indian epic Ramayana.

   
  Diyaluma Falls
  The 170 m high Diyaluma Falls is Sri Lanka's second highest perennial waterfall. Situated just 5 KM from the  Koslanda town, the falls leap over a cliff face and fall in one clear drop to a pool below – very picturesque and clearly visible from the road.
